Company Description Founded in 1985, Alps Chemicals is a global manufacturer and exporter of dyes and pigments, serving industries including paper, leather, food, inks, paints, coatings, and plastics. With presence in 40+ countries, our mission is to deliver dependable colouration solutions that help customers enhance their products and optimize their processes.
Role Description
- Identify and acquire new customers for our chemical products.
- Generate leads and convert them into long-term business.
- Visit customers regularly to understand their requirements, strengthen relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable chemical solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through strategic planning and execution.
- Collaborate with Production, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
- Ensure timely payment collection and follow up with customers for outstanding receivables to maintain healthy cash flow.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA (Marketing) will be an added advantage.
- 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in chemicals, dyes, pigments, or specialty chemicals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and willingness to travel extensively to meet customers and develop new business opportunities.
- Ability to understand technical products and provide customer-focused solutions.
