Role Description The Sales Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and proposals for prospective and existing clients. This role involves analyzing client requirements, reviewing project specifications, and coordinating with internal teams to gather pricing, timelines, and resource needs. The Sales Estimator will prepare quotation documents, support sales presentations, and follow up with clients to address questions and refine estimates as needed. Daily activities include maintaining estimation records, updating CRM or sales tracking tools, and collaborating with sales and business development colleagues to convert opportunities into confirmed projects. The role also involves contributing to process improvements, monitoring market trends, and ensuring that all estimates align with company policies and profitability targets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sales and Business Development skills to support lead conversion, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Estimation skills to analyze requirements, prepare detailed cost breakdowns, and develop accurate proposals.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to manage client interactions, clarify expectations, and build long-term relationships.
- Relevant experience in sales estimating, pricing, or proposals, preferably in a services or consulting environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, and meet deadlines with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, presentation tools, and CRM or sales management software.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the capacity to interpret data and support pricing decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
