About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and technology-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, leveraging AI for sales, and engaging enterprise decision-makers.

As an SDR, you will be responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, AI-powered research, database creation, discovery calls, and initial product demonstrations. You will play a critical role in driving pipeline growth by identifying customer pain points and introducing COVORO's finance and compliance automation solutions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, research, and qualify enterprise prospects across target industries.
  • Build and maintain high-quality prospect databases using AI-powered research and sales intelligence platforms.
  • Generate qualified opportunities through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other digital outreach channels.
  • Research target accounts and identify key stakeholders, including CFOs, Finance Heads, Tax Heads, Procurement Heads, and IT Leaders.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand customer challenges and business requirements.
  • Deliver engaging initial product demonstrations and effectively communicate COVORO's value proposition.
  • Schedule qualified meetings and hand over sales-ready opportunities to the Account Executive team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on outbound campaigns, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), webinars, and lead nurturing initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM.
  • Consistently achieve daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs related to outreach, meetings, pipeline generation, and opportunity creation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer challenges within Finance, Tax, Compliance, and Automation.


Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Development, Inside Sales, Business Development, or B2B SaaS sales.
  • Proven expertise in lead generation, outbound prospecting, and pipeline creation.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence in conducting discovery calls and delivering introductory product demonstrations.
  • Experience selling enterprise software or technology solutions is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand customer business challenges and recommend suitable solutions.


AI & Technical Skills
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar productivity platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of sales intelligence platforms including Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, Clay, Phantombuster, and other lead generation tools.
  • Experience in building, validating, cleansing, and enriching enterprise prospect databases.
  • Ability to leverage AI for account research, prospect profiling, personalized outreach, and sales productivity.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or equivalent systems.
  • Familiarity with email sequencing, sales automation, and outreach platforms is an added advantage.


Preferred Experience
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, FinTech, RegTech, ERP, Finance Automation, or Compliance Technology.
  • Experience engaging enterprise stakeholders such as CFOs, Finance Controllers, Tax Managers, Procurement Leaders, and CIOs.
  • Exposure to consultative selling methodologies such as BANT, MEDDICC, or SPICED is an advantage.
