Job Description – Business Development Executive / Business Development Manager (IT Services – FinTech)

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and result-oriented Business Development Executive/Manager to drive sales and business growth for our FinTech IT solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, acquiring clients, and selling software and mobile application solutions related to digital payments and banking services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, generate, and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, email campaigns, social media, and other lead generation activities.
  • Promote and sell FinTech software and mobile application solutions, including:
  • Third-Party Payment Gateway Integration
  • AEPS (Aadhaar Enabled Payment System)
  • BBPS (Bharat Bill Payment System)
  • Micro ATM Solutions
  • NEFT, RTGS & IMPS Integration
  • API Integration & Digital Banking Solutions
  • White Label Payment Solutions
  • Understand client business requirements and recommend suitable software solutions.
  • Conduct product presentations, software demonstrations, and client meetings (online/offline).
  • Prepare business proposals, quotations, presentations, and commercial documentation.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the technical, product, and implementation teams for smooth project execution and client onboarding.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and regularly update CRM with lead status, follow-ups, and sales activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for lead generation campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, and brand promotion.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business development presentations for management.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely communication and post-sales support coordination.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in B2B IT Sales, Business Development, or FinTech Solution Sales.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in lead generation, cold calling, client acquisition, and relationship management.
  • Good understanding of software sales, mobile applications, APIs, payment gateways, and digital payment ecosystems.
  • Ability to understand client requirements and coordinate with technical teams for solution delivery.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in IT Services Sales, FinTech Sales, Software Sales, or Business Development.
  • Experience in preparing proposals, RFIs/RFPs, commercial documentation, and client presentations.
  • Knowledge of online bidding platforms (Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, etc.) will be an added advantage.
