Role Summary

The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales of industrial safety products and solutions, The role involves direct interaction with industrial clients, understanding safety requirements, and offering suitable solutions to ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in industries such as manufacturing, construction, logistics, and oil & gas
  • Promote and sell industrial safety products
  • Conduct on-site client visits to assess safety needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to safety officers, procurement teams, and management
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets within assigned territory
  • Build long-term relationships with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) managers and decision-makers
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals
  • Ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, proposals, and payments
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM / ERP systems
  • Monitor competitor products, pricing, and market trends
  • Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, delivery, and after-sales service

  • Revenue and margin targets achieved
  • Number of site visits / client meetings per week
  • Lead generation and conversion rate
  • New client acquisition
  • Repeat business / client retention
  • Collection and payment cycle efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Additional certification in industrial safety (e.g., NEBOSH/IOSH) is a strong advantage

Experience Requirements

  • 2–5 years of field sales experience in industrial products, preferably safety equipment or PPE
  • Experience dealing with B2B clients in industrial sectors
  • Exposure to working with safety officers, plant managers, or procurement teams

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical / Domain Skills

  • Basic knowledge of industrial safety standards and PPE categories
  • Understanding of compliance requirements (OSHA concepts, Indian safety norms, factory safety standards)
  • Ability to explain technical product specifications

Sales Skills

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Territory management and planning
  • Lead generation and pipeline management

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Relationship-building with corporate/industrial clients
  • Problem-solving and consultative selling approach
  • Self-motivated and target-driven

Job Requirements / Working Conditions

  • Extensive field travel across industrial zones
  • Ability to visit factories, construction sites, and warehouses
  • Willingness to work in demanding field environments
  • Own vehicle preferred
