Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Specialist based in the Pune Division. The Safety Specialist will develop and enforce safety protocols, provide safety training for employees, conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards, and investigate workplace accidents to identify root causes and recommended preventative measures. The role also includes promoting and maintaining a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness within the construction industry.

Qualifications

• Experience in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
• Knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards and regulations
• Expertise in Safety Training and conducting effective safety programs
• Proven ability to conduct thorough Accident Investigations and recommend corrective actions
• Strong understanding of construction site safety requirements and risk assessment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Relevant certification(s) in safety management or health and safety standards (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA)
• Bachelor's degree in occupational health, safety management, or related field preferred
