Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist located in Gurugram. Key responsibilities include implementing and managing Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. The specialist will lead workplace safety programs, conduct risk assessments, provide safety training, and oversee occupational health initiatives. Additionally, the role involves preparing reports, investigating incidents, and driving continuous improvement in safety practices.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health regulations and standards
  • Proven skills in workplace safety, workplace risk assessments, and implementing safety protocols
  • Experience with health and safety training and promoting a safety-first culture
  • Ability to analyze incidents, identify root causes, and suggest corrective actions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly valuable
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of renewable energy industry EHS requirements is an advantage
