About the Role

As an Associate Director – Formulation Development, you will lead end-to-end formulation innovation and execution, while also driving the development of proprietary actives, molecules, and technology platforms that create long-term brand differentiation.

MUST HAVE'S

• 10+ years in formulation development (skincare & haircare mandatory)
• Strong expertise in emulsions, surfactants, actives & delivery systems
• Experience in contract manufacturing & commercialization
• Ability to balance innovation with speed & commercial viability
• Qualification: M.Sc / MTech / PhD in relevant fields

What You’ll Own

• End-to-end product & formulation development across categories
• Development of new actives, delivery systems & technologies
• Benchmarking (India & global) and translating trends into products
• Leading scale-up, tech transfer & manufacturing readiness
• Driving cost optimization & margin alignment
• Ensuring regulatory compliance (India + global)
• Building and mentoring a strong R&D team
• Collaborating cross-functionally with brand, packaging & supply teams
