We seek an experienced Remote Operations Manager to oversee event operations, logistics, and manpower management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistic operations, warehouse management, or hospitality management.
JJob Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Remote Operations Manager to oversee event operations, inventory, and logistics from a remote location. The ideal candidate will coordinate with on-ground operations staff, manage manpower scheduling and training, and ensure seamless execution of events. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and teams remotely.
Key Responsibilities:1. Event Operations Management
- Oversee event setup, registration, and logistics remotely
- Monitor event progress and troubleshoot issues in real-time
2. Inventory Control
- Track and manage inventory levels
- Ensure timely replenishment of supplies and equipment
3. Team Coordination
- Supervise and support operations staff remotely
- Motivate team members and provide guidance as needed
4. Manpower Scheduling & Training
- Allocate staff for events and ensure adequate coverage
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance
5. Logistics Planning
- Coordinate logistics for events, including transport and delivery
- Ensure timely movement of materials and equipment
6. Checklist & Task Management
- Create and manage event-specific checklists
- Ensure timely completion of all operational tasks
7. Customer Liaison
- Communicate event details and logistics with clients
- Address and resolve customer concerns professionally
8. Financial Coordination
- Collaborate with the finance team to track event costs
- Support profit and loss analysis for individual events
Requirements:
- Able to work in Singapore Time (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM) / IST (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Must be available for weekend shifts and flexible scheduling
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or hospitality/event operations
- Proven experience in remote team management
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or related field
- Experience in drink catering or the F&B industry
- Familiarity with Singapore’s events and hospitality market
- Knowledge of CRM, inventory, or event management software is a plus
