Regulatory Compliance Consultant

ROLE PURPOSE:

We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance professional to manage KYC and PPI (Prepaid Payment Instrument) compliance across customer onboarding, issuance, and lifecycle management. The role will ensure adherence to RBI guidelines for PPIs, KYC norms, and regulatory requirements in a BNPL / digital payments environment.

THE RESPONSIBILTIES, WE ENTRUST YOU WITH:

KYC Compliance

• Ensure customer onboarding complies with RBI KYC / AML guidelines

• Define and monitor KYC processes for full-KYC and minimum-KYC PPIs

• Review KYC documentation, workflows, and controls

• Support periodic KYC refresh / re-KYC programs

• Ensure CKYC / KYC registry integration compliance

PPI (Prepaid Payment Instrument) Compliance

• Ensure compliance with RBI PPI Master Directions

• Oversee issuance and lifecycle compliance of prepaid wallets / BNPL cards / prepaid instruments

• Monitor limits, loading rules, usage restrictions, and closure norms

• Ensure adherence to full-KYC PPI requirements

• Manage merchant acceptance compliance for PPIs

Regulatory & Audit

• Interpret RBI circulars and implement changes

• Prepare compliance policies and SOPs

• Support regulatory audits and internal audits

• Maintain compliance documentation and evidence

• Liaise with partner banks / NBFC / auditors

Monitoring & Reporting

• Track KYC / PPI compliance metrics and exceptions

• Monitor AML / suspicious activity triggers related to PPIs

• Prepare regulatory reports and dashboards

• Escalate compliance gaps and remediation plans

WHAT MATTERS IN THIS ROLE:

• 3–8 years in Regulatory Compliance / KYC / PPI / Payments compliance

• Experience in Fintech / Wallet / BNPL / Card / Payments company

• Hands-on exposure to RBI KYC & PPI regulations

• Experience with prepaid wallets / prepaid cards / BNPL instruments

• Exposure to NBFC / bank partnerships preferred
