Registered Manager (Childrens Home)

As the Registered Childrens Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the leadership and day:to:day running of a childrens home, ensuring a safe, supportive, and high:quality environment where young people can thrive.

This is a full:time, permanent position offering a salary of GBP 55,000 : GBP 70,000, plus benefits. The successful candidate must be willing to register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the childrens home, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and care standards
• Create a warm, nurturing, and family:focused environment that promotes childrens wellbeing, development, and education
• Lead, support, and develop a dedicated staff team, encouraging a positive and collaborative culture
• Deliver and maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, and quality assurance across the home
• Oversee staffing, rotas, and resources to ensure effective and consistent service delivery
• Ensure all policies, procedures, and governance requirements are implemented and maintained
  
  

About You

• Previously worked as a Childrens Home Manager, Registered Manager, Care Manager, Home Manager, or in a similar leadership role
• At least 1 year of recent management or supervisory experience within a care setting
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in childrens residential care
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• A full UK driving licence
