Role Description The Regional Sales Manager role is a full-time hybrid position based in Ahmedabad, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Regional Sales Manager will oversee sales operations within the designated region, identify and pursue new business opportunities, and manage relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and other partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing regional sales strategies, monitoring sales performance, preparing reports and forecasts, and ensuring revenue targets are met. The role involves collaborating closely with marketing and operations teams to align offers, packages, and customer experiences with market demand. The Regional Sales Manager will also conduct market research, participate in client meetings and events, and provide ongoing support and guidance to the regional sales team.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and negotiation.
  • Candidates should possess skills in client relationship management, account management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Candidates should possess skills in regional market analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Candidates should possess skills in team coordination, performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Relevant experience in tourism, hospitality, or travel services, preferably in a regional or territory sales role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and travel within the region as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office applications, with strong presentation and reporting skills.
