City General Manager / Studio Head (P&L Owner)


Location: Mumbai | Entrepreneurial Leadership Role | High Growth Company | Demanding Role


Tulio is building one of the most design-led brands in the made-to-measure curtains and blinds space. With vertically integrated manufacturing, deep design capabilities, and experience studios across cities, Tulio works closely with architects, interior designers, and discerning homeowners to deliver world-class window apparel.


As we expand across cities, we are looking for City General Managers / Studio Heads who will operate as business owners for their city or region.


This is not a traditional sales role. It is an entrepreneurial leadership position where the individual will be responsible for building, running, and scaling the Tulio business in their city.


The City Head will own the P&L, team, relationships with architects and designers, and overall market growth.


Role Overview


Each city will operate like a mini business unit within Tulio.


The City General Manager will:


  • Own revenue and profitability for the city
  • Build and lead the local team
  • Drive relationships with architects and interior designers
  • Deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Scale Tulio’s presence in the market


This decentralized structure allows Tulio to operate with speed, accountability, and strong local market ownership.


Key Responsibilities


Business & Revenue Ownership

  • Own the complete P&L for the city or region.
  • Drive revenue growth across residential projects, architect networks, and studio walk-ins.
  • Build a predictable pipeline of projects through architects, interior designers and direct clients.
  • Track and manage sales performance, project closures and revenue targets.

Architect & Designer Relationships

  • Build strong relationships with leading architects and interior designers in the city.
  • Position Tulio as the preferred window design partner for high-value homes.
  • Conduct studio presentations and design discussions with the design community.
  • Actively grow the architect and designer network.

Studio Leadership & Customer Experience

  • Ensure the Tulio studio delivers a world-class design and hospitality experience.
  • Oversee client consultations, design discussions and project planning.
  • Maintain high standards across visual merchandising, hospitality, and studio operations.
  • Ensure every client interaction reflects Tulio’s brand philosophy.

Team Building & Leadership

  • Hire, train and mentor the city team including designers, sales professionals and support staff.
  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability and excellence.
  • Track team productivity and performance.

Project Execution

  • Oversee project delivery from design consultation through site measurement, fabrication and installation.
  • Coordinate with central teams for procurement, production and logistics.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Market Development

  • Build Tulio’s reputation within the city’s architecture and interior design ecosystem.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, partnerships and new business development.
  • Represent Tulio at design forums, industry events and networking platforms.


Ownership Mindset

This role is designed for leaders who want to run a business within a business.


Tulio believes in a decentralized model where city leaders operate with strong autonomy and accountability.


City Heads will also participate in the upside and success of the business in their market, aligning long-term incentives with growth and profitability.


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 8–15 years of experience in sales, business development or leadership roles.
  • Experience working with architects, interior designers, real estate developers or luxury home clients.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a business in a city.
  • Excellent relationship-building and client handling skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
  • Strong commercial understanding and P&L orientation.
