Role Description This full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor – Real Estate role is based in Bengaluru and supports cost and commercial management across Amberstone’s residential projects. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare, review, and update Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost plans for ongoing and upcoming developments. The role involves monitoring project costs, validating contractor and vendor quotations, and ensuring adherence to approved budgets. Daily responsibilities include tracking cost variations, maintaining detailed cost reports, supporting tendering and contract negotiations, and coordinating with project, design, and procurement teams to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality. The Quantity Surveyor will also assist in risk assessment, value engineering initiatives, and provide periodic commercial updates to project leadership.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Cost Control and Cost Management to oversee budgets and manage financial performance across project lifecycles.
  • Candidates should possess practical experience in BOQ preparation, measurement, and verification to support accurate tendering and contract administration.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to develop forecasts, track expenditures, and provide clear, timely commercial updates to stakeholders.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in quantity surveying tools and MS Excel, along with familiarity with construction contracts and procurement processes.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in residential real estate projects, attention to detail, strong numerical and analytical abilities, and effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
