Quality Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in application testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our mobile and/or web applications through comprehensive manual and/or automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing of mobile and/or web applications.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
• Identify, log, track, and verify bugs using defect tracking tools.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Ensure timely release of high-quality applications.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in software/application testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing (mobile/web apps).
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
• Good understanding of API testing tools (e.g., Postman) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium/Appium or similar) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
