Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Control Engineer role based in Coimbatore. The Quality Control Engineer will inspect and test generator components and finished units to ensure they meet internal standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include developing and implementing quality control procedures, monitoring production processes, identifying defects or non-conformities, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with the manufacturing team. The role involves maintaining detailed inspection records, preparing quality reports, supporting audits, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability, reduce rework, and strengthen overall quality performance.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance for manufacturing and power generation equipment.
  • Candidates should possess solid Quality Management capabilities, including implementation of standards and continuous improvement practices.
  • Candidates should possess well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret data, diagnose issues, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for reporting findings and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant engineering degree or diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in generator manufacturing, heavy machinery, or industrial equipment quality processes is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (such as root cause analysis, ISO standards, and inspection techniques).
  • Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, manage multiple inspections, and adapt to a dynamic production environment.
