Role Description The Process Quality Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based at INCAP CMS Pvt Ltd in Tumkur, Karnataka. This role focuses on ensuring consistent product and process quality within the manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include monitoring production processes, implementing and maintaining quality control and quality assurance procedures, and analyzing data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities. The Process Quality Engineer will collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams to develop corrective and preventive actions, optimize quality management systems, and support audits and customer requirements. The role also involves preparing documentation, reports, and metrics to drive continuous improvement in product quality and operational performance.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Product Quality to monitor, evaluate, and improve manufacturing outputs.
  • Candidates should possess solid Quality Assurance and Quality Management capabilities to develop, implement, and maintain effective quality systems and standards.
  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify root causes, and recommend process improvements.
  • Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Production Engineering) or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Experience in manufacturing or electronics/ electromechanical production environments is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, statistical process control (SPC), and problem-solving tools (such as 8D, FMEA, or root cause analysis) is an advantage.
  • Effective communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally on-site.
