Role Description:

This remote Quality Assurance Trainee role is an internship position focused on supporting the delivery of reliable, high-performing software solutions. The trainee will assist in creating and executing test cases, documenting defects, and collaborating with developers and senior QA team members to resolve issues. Daily tasks may include reviewing requirements and specifications, performing functional and regression testing, and helping to maintain test documentation and reports. The role also involves learning and applying quality assurance practices, participating in team meetings, and contributing to process improvements under guidance. This position is designed to build foundational QA skills while working closely with an experienced engineering team.

Qualifications:

• Foundational knowledge or strong interest in Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices, with a willingness to learn and apply structured testing methods.
• Understanding or exposure to Quality Management principles, including process-oriented thinking and continuous improvement in software development environments.
• Awareness of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or similar standards and guidelines related to quality and compliance, even at a basic or academic level.
• Interest or experience in Quality Auditing activities, such as reviewing documentation, checking process adherence, and supporting internal quality reviews.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies or potential issues in software behavior.
• Basic familiarity with software development concepts, SDLC, and common testing types (functional, regression, performance) is beneficial.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear defect reporting and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage tasks responsibly, and respond constructively to feedback.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
