Senior Manual QA Engineer

Location: Mohali, Sector 67, India (In-Office)

Shift: 4:00 PM IST - 1:00 AM IST

Working Days: 5 Days Working (We follow Biorev's US Holiday Calendar)

Position Summary

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer who can take complete ownership of quality across our web applications.

This is a single-owner QA role, where you will be responsible for:

  • End-to-end testing
  • Documentation
  • Release validation
  • Basic coordination with developers

This is not a training role.

You should be able to independently drive QA from Day 1.


Key Responsibilities


1. End-to-End Manual QA (Core Responsibility – 70%)

  • Perform functional, regression, UI, and exploratory testing
  • Test web applications built on React, Three.js, Laravel
  • Validate APIs, flows, and edge cases
  • Ensure production readiness before releases


2. QA Ownership & Documentation

  • Create and maintain:
  • Test cases
  • Test plans
  • Bug reports (Jira)
  • Regression suites
  • Ensure proper coverage across features


3. Bug Tracking & Quality Control

  • Log bugs with clear steps, screenshots, and severity
  • Work closely with developers to ensure closure
  • Re-test and validate fixes


4. Release Coordination (30%)

  • Coordinate with developers for release readiness
  • Provide daily updates on QA progress
  • Track feature status and report risks/issues

  • Tech Environment

    • Frontend: React.js, Three.js
    • Backend: Laravel
    • Hosting: DigitalOcean
    • Tools: Jira, GitHub

  • What we are looking for

    • Fast execution and responsiveness
    • Clear communication


    Ideal Candidate

    • 3–5 years of manual QA experience (web applications)
    • Strong understanding of:
    • Functional testing
    • Regression testing
    • UI/UX validation
    • Experience with Jira & bug tracking tools
    • Ability to work independently (no supervision needed)

    • Not a project manager role
