We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable QC Underwriting professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Originations and Underwriting, ensuring that all underwriting processes are executed with precision and compliance. This role is critical in maintaining the quality and integrity of our underwriting operations, contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of loan applications and supporting documentation to assess risk and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate creditworthiness of applicants by reviewing credit reports, income statements, and other financial documents.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to develop and implement best practices for underwriting processes.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve underwriting guidelines and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with loan applications.
- Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in underwriting standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior underwriters and other team members.
- Strong knowledge of Originations and Underwriting processes.
- Proficient in analyzing financial statements and credit reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using underwriting software and tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the underwriting process.
- Experience in risk assessment and management.
- Knowledge of various loan products and their underwriting criteria.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in underwriting or risk management are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
