Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a motivated QA Engineer / Automation Tester Intern to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of our MERN stack applications (React, Node.js, Express.js, MySQL). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation testing, API testing, and end-to-end user flow validation, with a strong focus on business logic and real-world usage scenarios.

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform automation testing for web applications using modern testing tools
Conduct API testing to validate request/response data, status codes, and error handling
Test end-to-end user flows across multiple roles (user, admin, internal teams)
Validate business logic and functional requirements
Execute manual testing where automation is not applicable
Write, maintain, and execute test cases and test scripts
Perform regression, smoke, and functional testing
Validate database operations in MySQL (data integrity, CRUD operations)
Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues
Ensure releases meet quality standards before deployment
