The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting operational requirements. The role requires strong negotiation skills, market knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple vendors efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to ensure cost efficiency.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, quotations, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments (operations, finance, projects) to understand material and service requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement to avoid shortages.
- Track order status and ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement or purchase management.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office (Excel proficiency required).
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced technology-driven environment.
