We are looking for a creative and culturally rooted Punjabi Content Writer to join our team. You will craft original, compelling content in Punjabi that speaks authentically to our audience — across digital platforms, editorial channels, and brand communication.

This role is for someone who loves the Punjabi language, understands its cultural depth, and can write with clarity, warmth, and purpose.

• Write original content in Punjabi for websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, and marketing campaigns
• Develop engaging articles, scripts, captions, and brand copy rooted in Punjabi culture and audience sensibilities
• Create content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) in Gurmukhi script
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to align written content with visual and campaign goals
• Edit and proofread content for grammatical accuracy, tone consistency, and cultural relevance
• Manage assigned content deliverables and meet editorial deadlines consistently
• Stay current with cultural trends, regional news, and language shifts within Punjabi-speaking communities
  

• Native or near-native fluency in Punjabi with a strong command of the written Gurmukhi script
• 1–4 years of experience in content writing, journalism, copywriting, or a related creative field
• Deep understanding of Punjabi culture, idioms, dialects, and regional sensibilities
• Ability to write across tones — conversational, formal, journalistic, and creative — depending on the brief
• Strong self-editing skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and deliver on time
  

• Background in journalism, mass communication, or Punjabi literature
• Experience writing for news media, OTT, or entertainment platforms
• Audio/video scriptwriting experience in Punjabi
• Prior work with regional or vernacular digital media brands
