Role Description

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and governing projects and programs delivered from the offshore location. This role ensures predictable delivery, milestone compliance, risk management, and alignment with onsite governance and SOW commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage offshore execution of projects/programs in line with approved SOW, scope, and milestones.
  • Maintain integrated project plans, schedules, dependencies, and delivery trackers for offshore workstreams.
  • Ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and fulfillment of contractual commitments.
  • Track project/program KPIs such as schedule variance, effort burn, risks, and issues; report status through established governance channels.
  • Identify delivery risks and dependencies proactively and drive mitigation plans to closure.
  • Coordinate closely with onsite Delivery Managers and client stakeholders to align priorities and expectations.
  • Manage change requests impacting offshore delivery, including impact analysis, effort estimation, and execution planning.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for slippages or issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure audit readiness through proper documentation, approvals, and adherence to delivery processes.
  • Support continuous improvement through process standardization, automation, and optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 9+ years of experience in IT project or program management.
  • Proven track record managing offshore delivery for global enterprise clients.
  • Strong experience in managed services, infrastructure, platform, or operations-led programs.
