Project Lead – Application (Industrial Automation & Digital Platforms)

Kemar Automation is a leading provider of digitalization and automation solutions for ports, logistics, and manufacturing industries. Our platforms such as KYMS, KGOS, and UrgeTruck integrate RFID, IoT, OCR, and enterprise systems to automate gate, yard, and in-plant logistics operations.

We are looking for a Project Lead – Application who can take complete ownership of application delivery across multiple projects.

This role requires a strong mix of:

• Technical understanding (application/backend systems)
• Project execution capability
• Customer coordination skills

You will act as the bridge between development team, site teams, and customers, ensuring successful delivery of mission-critical systems.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of application projects (KYMS, KGOS, etc.)
• Ensure projects are delivered:
• On time
• Within scope
• With high quality
• Track progress, risks, and dependencies

• Work closely with:
• Application development team
• On-site technical teams
• Hardware/IoT teams
• Ensure alignment between:
• Software readiness
• Field deployment
• Customer expectations

• Act as the primary application SPOC for customers
• Gather and clarify requirements
• Conduct:
• Solution walkthroughs
• UAT support
• Go-live coordination
• Handle escalations and ensure customer confidence

• Understand backend systems:
• APIs
• Database structures
• Integrations
• Work with developers to:
• Translate requirements into technical tasks
• Validate solutions before deployment

• Drive go-live planning and execution
• Ensure smooth transition to production environment
• Monitor:
• System performance
• Issue resolution
• Coordinate support for critical issues

• Maintain:
• Project plans
• Requirement documents
• Status reports
• Provide regular updates to management

• Understanding of:
• Web applications & backend systems (.NET preferred)
• APIs and integrations
• Database basics (SQL)
• Experience in:
• Project management tools (Jira, Excel, etc.)
• Strong communication and coordination skills

• Experience in:
• Logistics / ports / manufacturing domain
• RFID / IoT-based systems
• Exposure to:
• System deployment & field execution
• Basic understanding of:
• Microservices architecture

• 4–10 years of experience in:
• Application project delivery / implementation
• Experience handling:
• Multiple stakeholders
• Live production environments

• Strong ownership mindset
• Ability to manage high-pressure, real-time projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Problem-solving approach (not just coordination)
• Ability to drive execution on ground + with dev teams
