This Position Reports To

Senior Engineering Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is # LI - Onsite.

This role is contributing to the to the Process Automation business in Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

• Site Survey, Assessment, Technical Solution Preparation and supporting Bids proposals.
• Application Design and Implementation, HW engineering
• HMI Design and Implementation
• Document preparation like BoM, GA and IA drawings,FDS, Installation and operational procedures
• Integrated System testing (FAT)
• Startup, Installation and Commissioning

Qualifications For The Role

• Minimum 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in process or safety systems, predominantly in application engineering,
• HW engineering, HMI engineering, 3rd party communication, FAT and SAT for Automation in the Energy domain (Oil &
• Gas, Refineries, Petrochemicals, Power and Water). Knowledge of the brownfield scope of work for DCS - modifications, service and commissioning
• Hands-on experience in producing documents ranging from pre-detailed engineering, system testing (FAT & IFAT) etc.,
• Experience in any ABB systems like 800xA, AC800M, AC500 etc. will be an added advantage
• B. Tech / B.E from a reputed University with first class in Instrumentation or Electronics or Electrical engineering.
