Job Description

A Project Engineer acts as the vital link between engineering, project management, and site execution, responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring technical aspects to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards . They manage documentation, coordinate teams, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, including defining project scope, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Technical Coordination & Support: Review, approve, and implement engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical designs. Provide technical guidance to project team members.
  • Documentation & Control: Manage project documents such as RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders. Maintain project databases and track performance metrics.
  • Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Conduct on-site inspections and quality checks.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Act as the liaison between clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Organize team meetings to track progress and solve issues.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in project management, engineering, or field management is typically required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, project scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and time-management skills are essential.
