Overview

The Associate Professor / Professor in Computer Science Engineering is responsible for leading and supervising research and teaching activities in computer science engineering. This position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting independent research, publishing scholarly works, and serving in leadership roles within the department and university.

Responsibilities

Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science engineering, including computer systems design, computer networks, software engineering, algorithms, and other related topics. Conduct independent research and collaborate with colleagues and students on research projects in computer science engineering. Publish research findings in reputable academic journals and present research at national and international conferences. Provide mentorship and guidance to undergraduate and graduate students in research projects and thesis preparation. Serve in leadership roles within the department and university, such as leading research groups, serving on committees, and mentoring junior faculty members. Participate in professional organizations and conferences to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in computer science engineering. Engage in service activities for the department, university, and profession, such as participating in community outreach programs and serving on grant review panels.

Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering or a related field is required. Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level. A strong record of research accomplishments, including publications in reputable academic journals and presentations at national and international conferences. Ability to lead and supervise research projects and mentor junior faculty members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
