About the Role

Dayananda Sagar University is building one of India's most ambitious academic AI programmes, powered by an on-campus NVIDIA AI Factory (DGX B200) and a University-wide AI-First mandate. We are inducting 50 Assistant Professors into our AI First Team to teach, train and build across Generative AI, Agentic AI and allied domains, and to help skill and certify our faculty and students at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor students in AI/ML, Generative AI and LLMs, and Agentic AI.
• Deliver NVIDIA DLI-aligned training and support faculty/student certification cohorts.
• Build hands-on projects, labs and use-cases on the University's GPU infrastructure.
• Contribute to research, publications, and applied AI initiatives across Centres of Excellence.
• Guide student projects and support curriculum integration of industry AI frameworks.

Essential Qualification

• M.Tech in any branch (Engineering / Technology).
• Demonstrated proficiency in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Important — Eligibility Note

• A CSE background is NOT mandatory. Candidates from any M.Tech branch with genuine AI/ML proficiency are encouraged to apply.
• What matters is demonstrated capability in Generative AI / LLMs, Agentic AI and related areas.

Desired Skills

• Strong foundation in AI/ML concepts, deep learning, and Python.
• Working knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agentic AI.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, and modern AI toolchains.

Preferred (Added Advantage)

• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA libraries / frameworks — e.g. NeMo, NIM, TensorRT-LLM, RAPIDS, CUDA, Triton, or the NVIDIA AI Enterprise stack.
• NVIDIA-Certified Associate/Professional (NCA/NCP — Generative AI LLM, Agentic AI, or allied) certification.
• Project, research, or industry experience in applied AI.
