Production Head - Taper Roller Bearings

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Head to lead our Taper Roller Bearings manufacturing division at our Kundli, Sonipat facility. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in bearing manufacturing, production planning, process optimization, quality improvement, and team management.

• Lead and manage the complete production operations of the Taper Roller Bearings department.
• Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Improve productivity, reduce cycle time, and optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Purchase, and Stores departments for smooth operations.
• Monitor production planning and machine utilization to maximize output.
• Minimize rejection, rework, and process losses while maintaining high quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Analyze production data and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
• Ensure timely maintenance coordination to minimize machine downtime.
• Support new product development and process improvements.

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• 10–20 years of experience in bearing manufacturing, with significant exposure to Taper Roller Bearings.
• Prior experience in a Production Head, Production Manager, or Senior Production role.
• Strong understanding of:
• Taper Roller Bearing manufacturing processes
• Grinding, Heat Treatment, Assembly, Inspection, and Packaging
• Production Planning & Control (PPC)
• Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, and 5S
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and Quality Systems
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage large production teams and achieve operational excellence.
