Operation Consultant _ Vapi

Stratefix Professional Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly experienced Senior Operations Consultant with 7–9 years of experience in Production, Manufacturing, Operations, Process Improvement, or Management Consulting.

The ideal candidate will lead operational excellence initiatives across client organizations by identifying improvement opportunities, implementing Lean methodologies, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring successful project execution. This role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, client management, and hands-on experience in manufacturing operations.

• Understand client requirements and recommend practical operational improvement solutions.
• Analyze existing manufacturing and business processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Lead implementation of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, TPM, SMED, Visual Management, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and present monthly project plans, review reports, KPIs, dashboards, and project status updates to clients.
• Coordinate with client leadership, department heads, and shop-floor teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Develop, review, and implement:
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Process Flow Charts
• Process Maps
• Skill Matrices
• Work Instructions
• Standard Work Procedures
• Conduct shop-floor observations, Gemba Walks, audits, and process assessments.
• Drive productivity, quality, cost reduction, waste elimination, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Monitor and improve key manufacturing metrics including:
• OEE
• Productivity
• Rejection
• Cycle Time
• Downtime
• Inventory
• Throughput
• Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Analysis, 7 QC Tools, and FMEA.
• Support ERP, SAP, CRM, or other manufacturing software implementation by gathering requirements and coordinating deployment.
• Mentor and guide junior consultants to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved within agreed timelines while maintaining high client satisfaction.

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech / MBA (Operations) / Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Any relevant Bachelor's Degree.
• 7–9 years of experience in Manufacturing, Production, Operations, Process Improvement, or Consulting.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems and operational excellence methodologies.
• Experience working in manufacturing industries such as Automotive, Engineering, Textile, Chemicals, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Heavy Engineering, or similar sectors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Willingness to travel to client locations as required.
