Role Description The Production Coordinator will support daily production operations for VFX projects in the Mumbai studio in an on-site capacity. This contract role involves scheduling and tracking shots, maintaining production databases, and ensuring information flows accurately between supervisors, artists, and clients. The Production Coordinator will prepare and update production reports, assist in resource planning, and help manage deadlines and deliverables. The role also includes coordinating meetings, documenting action points, following up on tasks, and flagging potential risks to project timelines. The ideal candidate will work closely with production and creative leads to keep projects on track and ensure a smooth, organized workflow.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with artists, supervisors, and clients.
  • Production Planning and Production Management skills to support scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking of deliverables.
  • Project Management and Organization Skills to handle multiple projects, maintain accurate documentation, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in VFX, animation, or post-production environments, with familiarity with common production tools and software (e.g., Shotgun/ShotGrid or similar).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven studio, with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
  • Comfort managing high volumes of data and assets, and adapting to evolving client needs and production priorities.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in film, media, animation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
