Position - Product Manager - Projectors / Interactive Flat Panels

Location - Gurugram (DLF Cyber hub)

Experience - 3-5 yrs

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with strong hands-on exposure to projectors or interactive flat panels (IFPs) to drive the end-to-end product lifecycle from market research and roadmap definition to launch and post-launch optimization. The ideal candidate will combine technical understanding of display technologies with strong business acumen to build and scale a competitive product portfolio.


Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for projectors / interactive flat panels in alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and technology trend analysis to identify white spaces and growth opportunities.
  • Build business cases for new products, features, and enhancements, including revenue, margin, and ROI projections.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Manage the complete product lifecycle: ideation, requirement gathering, design inputs, development, pilot, launch, and end-of-life.
  • Translate market needs and customer feedback into clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and feature specifications.

Technical & Hands-On Involvement

  • Act as the internal expert on projectors / interactive flat panels technologies, specs, use cases, and ecosystem.
  • Conduct hands-on product evaluations, demos, and benchmarking versus competition.
  • Work closely with QA and technical teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria related to performance, usability, and reliability.

Go-to-Market (GTM) & Commercialization

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Channel teams to develop GTM strategies, positioning, pricing, and packaging.
  • Support creation of sales tools: product presentations, competitive battle cards, demo scripts, and training material.
  • Participate in key customer meetings, trade shows, and events to showcase the product line and gather market feedback.

Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Align with internal stakeholders (Sales, Service, Finance, Supply Chain) to ensure product readiness and support.
  • Monitor portfolio performance (revenue, margin, volume, ASP, channel feedback) and drive corrective actions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, suppliers, and technology partners as required.

Data & Performance Management

  • Track and report product KPIs market share, adoption, churn, NPS, and profitability.
  • Use data and customer insights to prioritize backlog, refine product roadmap, and improve user experience.


Required Qualifications

Education:

  • B.Tech (preferably in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or related field)
  • MBA (preferred specialization in Marketing, Strategy, Operations, or Product Management)


Experience:

  • 5-8 years of total experience, with at least 3+ years in Product Management or closely related roles.
  • Proven hands-on experience with projectors or interactive flat panels (pre-sales, solutions, product, or technical role).
  • Experience working with education, corporate, AV/integration, or enterprise collaboration solutions is a strong plus.


Skills & Competencies

Technical / Domain Skills

  • Solid understanding of projector/IFP technologies: display types, brightness, resolution, connectivity, touch technologies, OS/platforms, and integration with classroom/meeting room solutions.
  • Ability to work with engineering teams on hardware and software aspects (firmware, UI, connectivity, peripherals, etc.).
  • Exposure to AV integration, classroom technology, or collaboration ecosystems preferred.

Business & Product Skills

  • Strong skills in market analysis, customer segmentation, and positioning.
  • Experience in pricing, product portfolio management, and profitability analysis.
  • Ability to build and present business cases and product proposals to leadership
