Role Overview
This is a Principal role based in Mumbai, designed for individuals who bring credibility, consistency, and judgment in managing sophisticated capital relationships.
The role entails owning and deepening relationships across family offices, UHNIs, and institutional allocators, while shaping long-term alignment with Artha’s investment platform. It also carries a broader mandate - to contribute to the institutionalization of capital partnerships, both through relationship depth and internal capability building.
Core Responsibilities
Capital Partnerships & Relationship Management
- Build, manage, and deepen relationships with family offices, UHNIs, and institutional investors
- Drive alignment between investor objectives and opportunities across Artha’s platform
- Develop relationships into long-term, multi-cycle partnerships grounded in trust and performance
- Maintain continuity of engagement through disciplined communication and delivery
- Strengthen Artha’s positioning as a reliable, long-term custodian of capital
- Engage with institutional stakeholders including CIOs, investment committees, and professional allocators where relevant
Strategic Advisory
- Act as a trusted advisor on portfolio construction, capital deployment, and alternative investment strategies
- Provide perspective across venture, private equity, and structured opportunities
- Support investors in aligning allocations with risk, liquidity, and return frameworks
- Represent investor insights internally to inform product strategy and platform evolution
Internal Discipline & Coordination
- Maintain high standards of CRM discipline, engagement tracking, and pipeline visibility
- Coordinate closely with fund operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless execution and communication
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness across all investor interactions
- Uphold a culture of precision, accountability, and zero-lag follow-through
LP Engagement, Content & Reporting
- Lead the design and execution of Artha’s LP engagement calendar, including curated events, roundtables, and private interactions
- Oversee development of institutional-quality communication and content, including:
- Quarterly and annual investor updates
- Portfolio insights and performance narratives
- Thematic and market-driven communication
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in reporting structures
- Continuously refine LP communication to reflect global best practices in transparency and engagement
- Enhance the overall investor experience through thoughtful, well-structured engagement frameworks
Leadership, Training & Team Development
- Mentor and guide relationship managers and associates within the team
- Develop structured training programs, playbooks, and operating frameworks
- Build internal capability to ensure consistent delivery of high-trust relationship standards
- Contribute to creating a team that reflects Artha’s principles of discipline, clarity, and accountability
Must-Have Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in private wealth, family office coverage, or capital advisory
- Strong, credible relationships within Mumbai’s UHNI and family office ecosystem
- Demonstrated experience managing long-duration, high-trust investor relationships
- Familiarity with alternative investments, AIFs, and private market structures
- Prior experience in team mentorship or leadership roles is preferred
- High degree of ownership, discretion, and professional judgment

Compensation Structure:
- Total Annual Compensaton - ₹45,00,000 + uncapped performance-linked upside (commission-based)
- Fixed Salary - ₹36,00,000
- Retention Bonus - ₹4,00,000 (paid annually)
- ESOPs - ₹5,00,000 (annual grant, subject to vesting applicable)
Defined pathway to Partnership & Carry Participation based on sustained contribution
