Role Overview

We are hiring a Performance Marketing Specialist to own Profit.co's paid acquisition engine. In this role, you will plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta, and other relevant channels to drive qualified leads and sign-ups for our B2B SaaS platform.

The role includes media planning, audience segmentation, conversion tracking, creative collaboration, and campaign planning based on downstream sales data. You'll have direct ownership of budget, performance, and pipeline contribution — and the autonomy to run experiments and scale what works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube), LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, and native ad platforms.
  • Develop and manage media plans aligned with campaign goals, budgets, and KPIs.
  • Perform in-depth keyword and audience analysis to uncover high-value segments and inform targeting strategies.
  • Implement and validate conversion tracking across GA4, Google Tag Manager, and LinkedIn Insight Tag.
  • Use AI-based tools for campaign optimization, creative generation, and performance analysis.
  • Analyze sales data and lead quality to refine audience targeting and improve ROI — not just CPL.
  • Collaborate with creative and content teams to develop ad copies, landing pages, and A/B testing frameworks.
  • Track budget pacing, impression delivery, and spend efficiency to maintain consistent ROI.
  • Research market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging ad channels to identify growth opportunities.
  • Compile and organize campaign performance data, maintain documentation, and deliver weekly and monthly reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in paid media or performance marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS, tech, or an agency managing SaaS accounts.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and native ad platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SEM campaigns, audience segmentation, and optimization techniques.
  • Working knowledge of conversion tracking setup (GA4, GTM, CRM mapping).
  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, pivot tables, and Looker Studio dashboards.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven marketing tools (ChatGPT, AdCreative.ai, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
Certifications
  • Google Ads — Preferred
  • Meta Blueprint — Optional
  • Google Analytics (GA4) — Preferred
  • LinkedIn Marketing Solutions — Preferred
Good to Have
  • Prior experience running paid campaigns specifically for B2B SaaS products.
  • Experience with ABM platforms and tactics on LinkedIn (Matched Audiences, Company Targeting).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM integrations.
  • Exposure to programmatic advertising or B2B intent-data platforms (6sense, Bombora, Demandbase).
What a Great Fit Looks Like

A great fit is a marketer who thinks like an operator and optimizes like an engineer. They can walk into a dashboard and within ten minutes tell you what's working, what's leaking, and where to double down. They write their own ad copy, brief their own creatives, argue with landing pages, and understand that a paid campaign is only as strong as the offer behind it.

They're allergic to vanity metrics — clicks without conversions don't excite them, and they'll be the first to pause a campaign that isn't paying back. Crucially, they understand B2B buying — long cycles, multiple stakeholders, intent signals — and tailor campaigns accordingly rather than running D2C playbooks on LinkedIn.
