To support our continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced People Operations Manager based in Ahmedabad to join our team and help drive key people initiatives across talent acquisition, employee engagement, HR operations, and organizational development.

Role Overview
We are looking for a high-caliber, strategic People leader for our people operations in India . This is not just an operational role; we need a visionary leader who can balance the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of a scale-up with the structured discipline required to manage a growing subsidiary.
You will be the bridge between our India operations and our global HR team, working closely with the CPO and HR Partners across different countries to ensure a unified global culture and seamless cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Act as a strategic partner to the CPO to design and implement HR initiatives that align with global business objectives while tailoring them for the Indian market.
- Labor Law & Compliance: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Indian Labor Laws (State and Central), ensuring the company remains 100% compliant with statutory requirements, audits, and filings.
- Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the design and administration of competitive C&B structures specifically for India, including payroll oversight, insurance, and statutory benefits (PF, ESI, Gratuity).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work daily with department heads in Noida and international HR partners to streamline hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
- Performance & Pressure: Drive a high-performance culture, managing HR operations under pressure during rapid growth phases or organizational transitions.
- Employee Relations: Manage complex employee relations issues, fostering a transparent and high-trust environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a high-growth tech startup or a multinational subsidiary.
- Labor Law Mastery: Expert knowledge of Indian employment regulations and compliance.
- Communication: Exceptional English proficiency (verbal and written) is mandatory, as you will report to global leadership and collaborate with international stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Experience in working-under-pressure environments where speed and accuracy are paramount. Nice to have
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in SaaS or Cybersecurity sectors is highly preferred, given the technical nature of our departments.
- Tooling: Proficiency in modern HRIS platforms and Google suit/Atlassian ecosystems for tracking and reporting.
