People & Culture Manager
Pankaj & Nidhi
Job Description
PEOPLE & CULTURE MANAGER
Pankaj & Nidhi · Noida · Full-time, on-site
Pankaj & Nidhi is an internationally-known Indian luxury label completing twenty years in 2026. Our atelier in Delhi houses a team of roughly 200 designers, artisans, production specialists, and operations professionals. Our work is sold through our stores in Delhi and Mumbai, our website, and through luxury retailers in the GCC, Europe, and the US.
We are looking for a People & Culture Manager to join our leadership team — someone who will own how we attract, welcome, develop, and care for the people who make this brand what it is. This role reports directly to the founders.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruitment across the company — from defining roles with department heads, to sourcing, screening, and managing candidates through to offer
- Lead onboarding for new joiners — making sure their first thirty days set them up to thrive
- Drive staff engagement and morale — the small things that make people feel seen, the larger initiatives that build culture
- Partner with the founders on sensitive people matters — succession, growth conversations, performance issues, exits — with discretion and judgment
- Build and run our performance review and goal-setting framework
- Coordinate with our payroll and compliance lead on the operational HR backbone, while owning the relational and developmental side
- Champion learning and development across the team — including programmes already in motion (such as our Learning Saturdays initiative)
- Be a steady, warm presence the team can come to with confidence
What We're Looking For
- 4–7 years of experience in a people-facing HR, talent, or culture role — ideally including time in a creative, design-led, or premium consumer business
- Demonstrated success owning recruitment, ideally across both creative and operational roles
- A natural feel for people — emotional intelligence, discretion, the kind of judgment that knows when to lean in and when to listen
- Strong written and verbal communication — you will be writing to, briefing, and partnering with the entire team
- Operational competence: comfortable building systems, processes, and trackers that the team will actually use
- A graduate degree from a reputed institution; HR specialisation a plus but not required if the experience speaks
- Genuine care for the people side of an organisation — this is not a job for someone who sees HR as compliance
What We Offer
- A direct partnership with the founders during a meaningful chapter for the brand
- The chance to shape culture for a team you will know by name and by story
- A workplace that values craft, quiet excellence, and integrity
- Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience
