Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Payroll Executive based in Bhubaneswar. The Payroll Executive will manage end-to-end payroll processing, including maintaining employee records, calculating salaries, overtime, incentives, and statutory deductions. The role involves ensuring timely disbursement of wages, handling reimbursements, and coordinating with HR and Finance departments to validate attendance, leave, and shift data. The Payroll Executive will also be responsible for statutory compliance related to PF, ESI, tax deductions, and other legal requirements. Additional tasks include preparing payroll reports, resolving employee payroll queries, supporting audits, and continuously improving payroll systems and processes.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong payroll processing and salary computation skills, including handling overtime, incentives, and deductions.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of statutory compliance such as PF, ESI, professional tax, and income tax regulations.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in payroll software or ERP systems, as well as MS Excel for data management and reporting.
  • Candidates should possess attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to maintain confidential employee information.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication and coordination skills to work with HR, Finance, and project teams.
  • Relevant experience in payroll or accounts, ideally in the construction or infrastructure sector, is beneficial.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site in Bhubaneswar and manage deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
