Part-Time VLSI Trainer

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a VLSI Trainer. The VLSI Trainer will conduct online sessions on core VLSI concepts, tools, and workflows, including digital design, verification, and implementation. Day-to-day tasks include preparing training materials and lab exercises, delivering live classes, mentoring learners on projects, and evaluating assignments and assessments. The trainer will provide practical guidance on industry practices, support learners with doubts and clarification, and continuously update course content to reflect current VLSI trends and technologies. Collaboration with the SkillDzire team to improve curriculum quality and learner outcomes is an integral part of this role.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of VLSI fundamentals, including digital logic design, HDL (e.g., Verilog or VHDL), and basic ASIC/FPGA workflows.
• Hands-on experience with industry tools such as simulation, synthesis, and verification environments (e.g., ModelSim, Vivado, Synopsys, or similar).
• Ability to design and deliver structured training content, including slides, examples, and practical lab exercises.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear, accessible manner.
• Prior teaching, mentoring, or corporate training experience in VLSI or related domains is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, VLSI, or a closely related field.
• Comfort with remote work, online teaching platforms, and digital collaboration tools.
• Commitment to learner success, patience, and a willingness to support diverse skill levels.
