Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations Manager, based in Devanahalli. The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, streamline processes, and ensure efficient management of resources and staff. The responsibilities include managing team performance, ensuring task alignment with organizational goals, planning and executing projects, and maintaining operational budgets. The role also involves liaising with stakeholders and consistently identifying opportunities for process improvement to strengthen organizational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, team management, and ability to delegate effectively
- Operational efficiency, process improvement, and organizational skills
- Budget management, project planning, and report analysis expertise
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with operations in educational or consultancy services is a plus
- Ability to work in a dynamic, on-site work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Proficiency in business tools and project management software is desirable
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations & Process Management
- Design, implement, and optimize operational workflows.
- Monitor daily business activities and ensure smooth execution across departments.
- Build SOPs for counselling, student onboarding, admissions processing, and partner coordination.
- Track KPIs and generate performance dashboards.
Team Management
- Manage inside sales, counsellors, support staff, and backend operations teams.
- Set clear targets and monitor team productivity.
- Conduct weekly performance reviews and training sessions.
Revenue & Growth Support
- Collaborate with leadership on revenue planning and forecasting.
- Improve lead conversion ratios and student onboarding efficiency.
- Support expansion of UK-focused education and career services.
Stakeholder & Partner Coordination
- Coordinate with the UK head office and leadership team.
- Manage relationships with universities, partners, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with international student processes.
Systems & Tools Management
- Oversee CRM systems and data reporting.
- Ensure process automation and operational scalability.
- Implement performance tracking tools and dashboards.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in EdTech / Study Abroad / International Education
- Proven experience in managing operations teams.
- Strong understanding of counselling workflows and lead lifecycle management.
- Experience working with CRM systems.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in UK study abroad or international job placement domain.
- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Experience scaling startup operations.
