Regional Operations Head – Gujarat
Location: Gujarat, India
Industry: Construction / Infrastructure / Project Management Consultancy (PMC)
We are looking for an experienced Regional Operations Head to lead and manage operations across large-scale infrastructure and real estate projects in Gujarat. The role requires a seasoned leader who can drive operational excellence, manage multiple project teams, and build strong client relationships while ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Lead regional operations aligned with organizational strategic goals.
- Develop and implement operational plans to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement in project execution, quality, and safety standards.
Project Oversight
- Supervise multiple project teams ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Monitor project KPIs and implement corrective actions when required.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, client requirements, and internal policies.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients in the region.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
- Resolve escalated issues and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor Project Directors, Project Managers, Engineers, and support teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Identify training needs and support career development initiatives.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Prepare and manage regional budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure profitability of projects through cost control and resource optimization.
- Support business development and pre-sales initiatives, including bid reviews and client presentations.
Expertise & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 20–25 years of experience in the construction / PMC industry.
- At least 5 years in a senior operational leadership role.
- Proven track record managing large-scale infrastructure or real estate projects across multiple locations.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen.
