Regional Operations Head – Gujarat


Location: Gujarat, India

Industry: Construction / Infrastructure / Project Management Consultancy (PMC)


We are looking for an experienced Regional Operations Head to lead and manage operations across large-scale infrastructure and real estate projects in Gujarat. The role requires a seasoned leader who can drive operational excellence, manage multiple project teams, and build strong client relationships while ensuring successful project delivery.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Lead regional operations aligned with organizational strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement operational plans to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution, quality, and safety standards.

Project Oversight

  • Supervise multiple project teams ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Monitor project KPIs and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, client requirements, and internal policies.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients in the region.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
  • Resolve escalated issues and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor Project Directors, Project Managers, Engineers, and support teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Identify training needs and support career development initiatives.

Financial & Commercial Management

  • Prepare and manage regional budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure profitability of projects through cost control and resource optimization.
  • Support business development and pre-sales initiatives, including bid reviews and client presentations.


Expertise & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 20–25 years of experience in the construction / PMC industry.
  • At least 5 years in a senior operational leadership role.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale infrastructure or real estate projects across multiple locations.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen.
