Online math teacher

Codeyoung provides coding courses tailored to kids aged 5 to 17, focusing on developing hands-on curriculum with clear learning objectives. Unlike many traditional coding programs, Codeyoung prioritizes interactive sessions that are student-centric rather than teacher-centric. Our goal is to provide engaging, personalized learning experiences that help students build essential skills for their academic and professional futures.

This is a part-time remote role for an Online Math Teacher. The Online Math Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering effective lesson plans, teaching math concepts to students in an engaging and interactive manner, and ensuring that lessons are tailored to meet the learning needs of students. The teacher will also collaborate on curriculum development while fostering a supportive and positive virtual classroom environment.

• Strong foundational knowledge in Mathematics and expertise in teaching concepts to young learners
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
• Certified or Qualified in Teaching, ideally with a focus on Mathematics Education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students in online settings
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles and needs
• Familiarity with virtual teaching tools and platforms is a plus
• Experience working with students aged 5 to 17 is highly desirable
