Job Description

Company Description

Global University Systems is an international education group that empowers students to transform their lives through education. We believe education drives careers, lives, and society forward, enabling a brighter future for all. Our network of 30 institutions offers the broadest range of industry-relevant skills through inclusive, accessible, and digital-first learning. We currently educate around 122,000 students on campuses worldwide and have 20M+ unique subscribers to our courses. Our global ecosystem powers accessible digital learning and academic achievement.

About Quallege

Quallege is an international student recruitment platform that partners with leading U.S. universities to drive enrollment from global markets. We operate at the intersection of higher education and international marketing — working on behalf of our university partners to attract, engage, and convert students across key regions

Our work serves three primary audiences: recruitment partners (the agents and agencies on the ground in each market), prospective students (the end audience our campaigns are ultimately designed to reach), and university partners (the institutions we represent, who are active stakeholders in approvals and brand standards). Understanding how to communicate effectively and appropriately for each audience is central to every role on our team.

We are a global company with a local mindset. Some of our communications are market-specific — tailored in tone, cultural context, or language for a particular region — while others follow a global approach applied consistently across all markets. The ability to navigate both is key.

Because we produce content on behalf of universities, our work must adhere to each institution's brand guidelines and is often subject to university approval workflows.

Role Summary

We are looking for a versatile and driven Graphic Designer to become the visual engine of Quallege’s marketing team. You will own the design and production of a wide range of digital assets — from social visuals to email templates, presentation decks, and motion graphics — across a global, multichannel content operation.

This role goes beyond static design. Motion design is a core part of the toolkit here: you will produce animations and motion content that bring campaigns to life across digital touchpoints. You bring a strong eye for brand consistency, the ability to adapt visuals for diverse cultural audiences, and the creative problem-solving skills to work efficiently across multiple concurrent projects.

Your mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, AI design tools, and project management workflows sets you apart. Your portfolio reflects not just technical skill but strategic thinking — designs that perform, not just impress.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Asset Production: Create a diverse range of graphic assets including infographics, banners, display ads, email templates, social media visuals, e-books, website graphics, and other promotional materials to support SEO, social media, partner communications, and more.
  • Motion Design: Produce motion graphics, animations, and animated content across digital campaigns, social media, presentations, and web touchpoints. Handle full video editing end-to-end: cutting and assembling footage, audio mixing, transitions, color grading, captions, and platform-optimized exports. Key formats include social media reels and stories, webinar and event recap videos, and presentation animations. Motion design and video editing are core deliverables of this role, not occasional add-ons
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all graphic and motion assets consistently adhere to Quallege brand guidelines, creating a cohesive and recognizable identity across all channels, markets, and mediums.
  • Responsive Designs: Craft assets that are adaptable across devices, ensuring a consistent and high-quality visual experience from desktop to mobile.
  • Campaign Collaboration: Work closely with the Copywriter and Web Developer to produce cohesive campaigns that integrate graphics, motion, copy, and digital functionality into unified experiences.
  • Innovation & Trend Awareness: Stay at the forefront of design and motion trends; explore novel visual strategies and techniques that differentiate Quallege in competitive global markets.
  • Tech Mastery: Utilize AI-driven graphic design technologies for predictive design strategies, automating routine tasks, and maximizing the impact and efficiency of content production.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics and performance insights to inform design choices, ensuring assets are both visually compelling and effective in driving engagement and conversions.
  • Content Audits: Regularly review and refresh existing digital assets based on performance data and evolving brand strategies, maintaining a high quality bar across the asset library.
  • Asset Management: Organize and maintain a structured digital library of all graphic and motion assets, ensuring easy accessibility for the marketing team and other stakeholders.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the evolving landscape of graphic and motion design, with particular attention to emerging technologies, platforms, and audience preferences across global markets.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Engage proactively with internal teams, providing design insights that contribute to broader marketing strategies and ensuring projects remain on schedule and aligned with business goals.
