Node.js Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for building scalable backend services, APIs, and server-side logic that power high-performance web applications. You’ll collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver robust and secure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and backend services
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance
• Implement security and data protection best practices
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues efficiently
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and frameworks like Express.js / NestJS
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming, event loop, and non-blocking I/O
• Experience with databases (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and API integration
• Knowledge of authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth)
• Understanding of version control systems (Git)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of basic DevOps practices
• Experience with testing frameworks (Mocha, Chai, Jest)

• UG: B.Tech (CS & IT) – Computers / Other Specializations
• PG: M.Tech – Computers / MCA – Computers / MS
