Senior Node.Js Developer (5+ Years Experience)

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer with strong backend development expertise to join their dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable server-side applications, developing robust APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance digital products.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Node.js, modern JavaScript frameworks, and backend architecture, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and clean coding practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services
• Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers
• Optimize backend applications for performance, scalability, and security
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend performance issues
• Integrate backend services with databases and third-party APIs
• Participate in code reviews and backend architecture discussions

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong expertise in Node.js
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks
• Experience working with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
• Experience building scalable backend architectures

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with Docker or containerization
