Backend Developer - Node.js

We’re looking for an experienced Backend Developer to build and maintain scalable server-side applications for web and e-commerce platforms. If you’re passionate about writing clean, efficient backend code and building reliable APIs and systems that power modern digital products, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and Express.js
• Design, build, and optimize MongoDB databases for performance and reliability
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for web and e-commerce platforms
• Build and maintain server-side logic to support frontend and third-party integrations
• Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX teams, and product stakeholders to deliver seamless solutions
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability across systems
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues efficiently
• Follow best practices for code quality, documentation, and backend architecture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3–4 years of experience in backend development using Node.js. Mongodb and related technologies

• Experience working with databases such as MongoDB
• Problem-solving mindset with strong debugging skills
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with Shopify integrations is a plus
