Job Title: Head – S/4HANA Data Migration Architect

Location: Hyderabad, India(Hybrid)

Intro – Summary Of The Role

As part of Lonza’s Digital Core Transformation, the S/4HANA Data Migration Architect plays a critical role in enabling a successful ERP transformation. This role is responsible for architecting, governing, and leading end‑to‑end data migration from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA, ensuring data quality, business continuity, and long‑term value realization.

What you will do

Define, govern, and continuously refine the data migration strategy aligned with the S/4HANA transformation roadmap
Assess legacy data sources, identify data quality gaps, and define data mapping and transformation rules
Oversee the design and execution of ETL processes using SAP data migration tools
Ensure data quality, accuracy, reconciliation, and compliance throughout migration cycles
Lead and coordinate cross‑functional business, functional, and technical data migration teams
Manage migration plans, milestones, risks, and stakeholder communications
Provide post‑go‑live data support, conduct data audits, and enable handover to operational teams

What we are looking for

Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA data migration in large‑scale ERP implementations
Strong expertise in SAP data migration tools (SAP BODS, LSMW, or others)
Deep understanding of data mapping, ETL, and data quality management
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
SAP S/4HANA Data Migration certification and project management experience are advantageous
