About the Role
Location - Sri City, Andhra Pradesh
- Perform Visual Testing (VT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) inspections as per EN 9712 standards.
- Interpret and evaluate inspection results against applicable acceptance criteria.
- Prepare and maintain NDT reports, inspection records, and documentation.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and customer teams regarding inspection requirements.
- Identify defects, non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality procedures, and safety standards.
- Support root cause analysis and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in audits and customer inspections when required.
- Maintain calibration and proper usage of NDT equipment and consumables.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- NDT Level II certification as per EN 9712 standards (VT & PT mandatory).
- Certification from a recognized body such as PCN, ISO, or equivalent.
Required Skills
- Valid EN 9712 Level II Certification in VT & PT.
- Knowledge of welding defects, casting defects, fabrication processes, and manufacturing inspections.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and quality standards.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
- Good analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of additional NDT methods such as UT, MT, or RT will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- 2–5 years of experience in NDT inspection, quality assurance, or manufacturing quality control.
- Experience in automotive, fabrication, heavy engineering, or industrial manufacturing environments is preferred.
