Mortgage Whole Loan Buyer

Corrfirst, LLC is hiring a Mortgage Whole Loan Buyer. The role will be responsible for acquiring mortgage whole loans and managing the due diligence from beginning to end of the buying process.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Analyze and purchase residential and commercial mortgage loans from various sellers, assessing risks to optimize portfolio performance.
• Lead the review of loan documentation, including underwriting, credit analysis, and valuation to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors for file review, as well as custodians for document tracking.
• Coordinate the funding and settlement process
• Ensure all acquired loans adhere to established investor guidelines and internal risk limits.
• Other duties as assigned

Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, or Finance preferred. 
• 2-3 years’ experience specifically with private lending or non-bank financing is required
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of mortgage operations
• Proficient with general office machines and programs to include Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software that might be utilized in the department
• Well-organized, accurate, and attentive to detail
• Ability to work in continually changing environment

Job Type: Full-time Monday-Friday Remote

Pay: Salary (Range: $65,000-$75,000 annually)
