Mid-Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Computer Vision)

Client builds AI-powered software for the beauty industry, helping brands deliver personalised, expertise-focused customer support through intelligent digital agents. Our technology powers e-commerce experiences including: skin analysis, product recommendation and LLM-based chat.

We’re hiring a mid-senior (4+ years experience) Machine Learning Engineer to help design, build, and scale our production Computer Vision systems WITH_REPLACED ownership from experimentation through to deployment. You’ll work end to end on the training, optimisation, and deployment of CV models that power real customer interactions.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Train, evaluate and deploy computer vision models for real-world use
• Collaborate WITH_REPLACED product and engineering to integrate ML systems into user-facing features
• Develop and deploy production-quality machine learning frameworks, while maintaining robust MLOps pipelines
• Stay up-to-date WITH_REPLACED the latest advancements in ML, conduct research, and explore innovative techniques
• Influence key decisions on architecture and implementation of scalable, reliable, and cost-effective engineering solutions
  
  
  

✅ What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

• 4+ years experience developing production-grade computer vision systems
• Experience WITH_REPLACED training, fine-tuning and evaluating classification (CNN), semantic segmentation (U-net), object detection (YOLO) and vision transformers
• Strong expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras)
• Experience designing robust image pre-processing and post-processing pipelines, including ROI/landmark detection (mediapipe) and overlay masking for real-world deployment
• Proven MLOps experience: 3+ years working WITH_REPLACED Google vertex AI or AWS Sagemaker, model versioning, experiment tracking, CI/CD integration, containerization (Docker), model compression, and optimizing model size/latency
• Bachelor''''s degree in a technical field such as computer science or years of equivalent experience
• Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership in a fast-moving, remote, startup environment

• Masters or advanced degree in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, or related field
• Strong understanding of conversational AI, RAG pipelines, or LLM-based frameworks
• Exposure to Django or similar Python web frameworks
